$75 a week

Lately, I have been loving a blog called 30 Bucks a Week. Basically, two people live on $15 each per week for groceries. Mary at Owlhaven is hosting a $75 a week challenge, which you can read all about here. It just so happens that $15 per person is $75 per week in my family. It also just so happens that $75 a week is our usual grocery budget. Lately, we have been slipping in the grocery budget a bit. I wasn't too worried about it because I was learning the Weight Watchers program and honestly, it is really easy to get caught up in the stupid 1 point snack cakes and other crap they sell. (I ate more processed crap than I think I ever have in my life, but I digress.)

Inspired by 30 Bucks, Owlhaven and our super-de-duper no spending so we can save for Germany budget, we are back on track.

I think for a bit I am going to post our daily menu and receipts, just to keep us honest. You know... until I forget to.

Hubby wants to know how you spend that little at the grocery store-we spend way too much! LOL I told him I'd read your blog and steal all your secrets! ;) Know what you mean about all those low point cakes--oh boy! Love all the other blogs you share with us too.
